    Angry In2Net or IndusInd

I would like to share a review that I am having a terrible experience with In2Net / Indus Ind Cable connection at Kandivli West.

Unfortunately societies don't opt for two cable operators at the same time. I highly recommend avoiding this operator. I feel most cable services are run by goons. They have no escalation point of contact for service. We are at their mercy for solving issues. I have spent around 100/- Rs every time I face an issue on phone calls only to reach them. They never inform about downtimes and many times when, there is a problem with the line, they don't pick up calls.

I'm having a terrible experience with them and unfortunately, there is not even a single person who we can reach on call to escalate the problem to. Please avoid paying the goons for services ! I will be raising this issue locally. They recommend you to avoid subscribing for DEN Networks, Tikona Broadband etc (advertisements on their channels), however, the truth is they fear competition.

    Thanks

Just wait for Reliance Jio 4G and see what happens in this broadband market. Every cable operators will get their act together or will just vanish. 4g technology is such that latency is not going to be a problem and thats what every gamer wants and thats what we need for a good browsing experience too.

Not just Reliance but other 4G services will also most likely be very cheap as compared to the currently prevailing 3G prices which make it prohibitive for us to use as the main connection.

Been waiting for Reliance 4G for years now. Don't know if they will ever launch their services.

recently had a glimpse of opening up of some jio park or something somewhere, i think on cnbc or likewise channel. youtube must've a video on that.

    ----------------------------------------

although i have been a loyal customer of MTNL (Thane), i recently found out the revamped tariffs of my local cable operator (though tariff were changed some months back, i came to know just recently), which has made me to think changing the ISP or atleast get that connection and have MTNL as a back-up connection with a low-cost plan (as the local cable connection drops off in case of power-outage, which has been a nagging issue in my area this year). the ISP is 'dolphin infonet' (from SS BB services)....am interested in the 2 mbps plan, hence have only its tariff in mind, which is 700/- a month or 5600/- or 5900/- annually. 1000/- installation charges in case of monthly subscription, and 500/- in case of annual. downtimes are negligible, and service is very good (verified from a society co-resident); plus, the office is very near my home.

    Default Internet Issues

A strange problem with my In2Net Cable is this ..

Whenever the connection goes off from their end, and when it comes back (i.e. when link LED has no light.. and then it comes back after an hour or so), my router although connected, I'm not able to access internet. That is the servers don't resolve. I tried manually updating the DNS in my TPLink router but that doesn't work. I tried to ping the DNS from the router but that too did not work.

Now, I don't know if the WAN IP is getting assigned or is there some other problem. This is not a proxy issue at all coz It doesn't work from any browser or mobile phone.

    Anyone has any idea ?

    THanks
