I doubt whether there is any gen-set, in the budget you mentioned, that could meet the above load requirements - especially if they are in contiguous mode.

Further gen-sets run on a diesel engine and they will make a noise, even a racket.

I am not an expert in these things. You should contact the dealers and distributors who will exactly asses the correct requirements and come up with the exact solution. As far as I know the portable gensets are good enough to power one room and that too without heavy load equipments such as AC, washing m/c, etc. For full load an industrial strength generator such as those sold by Cummins, Kirloskar, etc. are required and these cost significantly.

i think within your budget and according to your load requirement there is no Gen set available in market ,so if its possible that you can increase your budget than contact to dealer and chose one of them.........

Your load is no less then 20Kva but I was wondering if you are going to use all these appliances all at once even when there is no electricity. I have no idea how much a 20Kva generator will cost but I know it will cost way more then Rs1 lakh Rs.

I would like to add here that you do not need backup for geyser because they store water and if that is not enough for you then get solar water heaters of much larger capacity then you need. If you need 35 liters of hot water then get a 400 liter capacity solar water heater and you would be surprised how much electricity you would be saving by spending money on solar water heaters. Your washing machine takes up at least 2500 watts of power because it has a heating element to heat water and same with the dish washer another 2500 watts. It costs a bomb to set up electricity back up that size. You mentioned 3 1.5 ton ac's as well and I would like to know if you are going to run them all simultaneously?

If you take my advise you should go for a 20Kva inverter from sukam and it will need some 34-40 battries to go with it. Get IT 500 from exide which will cost Rs12500 a piece and you will need to extend your budget to about 6lakh rupees with this set up and still have to exclude your geysers, dishwasher and one ac to get a decent backup duration. If you take good care of the batteries they will last more then 8 years and in the long run this inverter will turn out to be much cheaper then a diesel gen set because during those 8 years diesel prices will either come at par with petrol or become costlier then petrol.

Oh I am soo in love with my ability to predict stuff like this Diesel prices are indeed going to be at par with petrol in less then a year
