Thumbs down Kadugodi agent asking 2500 Rs for installation charge....

According to railwire it is 500 Rs installation charge. Where as the agent in Kadugodi is charging Rs 2500 for connection which is non refundable. The amount will go to agent and there are no proofs that you have paid that advance. This is waste of money. Whatever technical issues they are giving for the charges is not much convinceable. Now in this competition market who is going to pay 2500Rs for installation. You guys just make the customer hopeless. When i asked to customer care they told that we cant decide the installation charge amount as the local agents are giving the connections. Its very funny.... Its a private business organisation or govt organisation or a mafia ?

Hi lancable, Can you give me the agent's phone number? and also are there any other agents? I am left with only Railwire as other ISP have declined my request.

If this is the case you should report it to Railwire, and ask them about what is going on, and whether the installation charges are standard and fixed. If they are not fixed then unfortunately you can not do much about it and just go for another ISP, because paying Rs2500 is way too much.
